Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma, stated that almost all factions of state government support a complete ban on the sale of e-cigarettes.

During a meeting at the National Duma, Volokin proposed preparing a bipartisan legislative proposal to ban the sale of e-cigarettes and their related e-liquids, with the aim of having it reviewed before the end of the current session.

Currently, the State Duma Health Protection Committee is preparing for the first review of two related bills, according to media reports.

Volochkova pointed out that considering almost all factions support a comprehensive ban on the sale of e-cigarettes, preparing a corresponding cross-party proposal is a wise move.
