A group of top cigar manufacturers is bringing the cigar trade show experience back on the road this summer, with The Traveling Cigar Road Show returning for its third national tour. The 21-city event, organized by Altadis USA, CLE Cigar Co., Oliva Cigar Co., and Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, will connect retailers across the country with brand representatives, exclusive product offers, and a full day of food, drinks, and entertainment.
The tour kicks off July 21 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and concludes August 13 with events in Phoenix and Houston. Each stop runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as reported first by Halfwheel.
Originally launched in 2020 as an alternative to the canceled PCA trade show that year, the road show skipped 2021 and 2023 due to the return of in-person trade events and scheduling conflicts. It returned in 2024 with 16 stops and expands this year to 21.
“The cigar business is built on relationships,” said Rocky Patel, CEO of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars. “This tour is about connecting with retailers where they are.”
Altadis U.S.A. CEO Davide Moro said last year’s road show “proved its value,” offering a unique opportunity to highlight brands like Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Trinidad, and Aging Room.
Retailers attending the events will receive access to exclusive promotions and sweepstakes while engaging directly with brand teams.
