GreenTank Technologies has won another award. The innovative atomization company received the Best Nicotine Innovation of the Year award at the 2025 InterTabac World Alternative Awards, held in Dortmund, Germany, on Sept. 19, for its Quantum Chip technology.
The Quantum Chip is an advanced heating platform that sets new standards for the performance and safety of vaping devices, according to the company. After accepting the award, CEO Corey Koffler told Nicotine Insider that he recognizes the importance of the industry’s recognition of GreenTank’s innovative design.
“What makes this recognition even more symbolic is that the award spans all nicotine product categories, including Pouches, Heat-Not-Burn (HNB), and Vapor (ENDS),” Koffler said. “To have been chosen from across such a broad field underscores the transformative impact our Quantum Chip technology will have on our industry.”
The Quantum Chip is a proprietary atomizing microchip designed for precise and consistent heating of e-liquids and nicotine formulations. It eliminates hot spots and tightly regulates temperature, producing a steady aerosol with optimal particle size, according to the company.

This enhances flavor delivery and reliability while reducing the formation of harmful and potentially harmful constituents (HPHCs). According to GreenTank, the system also extends the device’s lifespan and maintains performance across multiple use cycles.
Koffler added that the technology represents more than just engineering progress. “It affirms our commitment to advancing science-driven solutions that reduce exposure to harmful and potentially harmful constituents, while aligning with the priorities of regulators and public health authorities worldwide,” he said.
GreenTank positions the Quantum Chip as a versatile platform capable of adapting to various nicotine categories. It is suitable for both closed-system vaporizers and potentially heat-not-burn devices. The company’s claims of precise heating have attracted attention in a market where regulators are increasingly focused on toxicant levels, product stability, and consistency.
Receiving the InterTabac Alternative award continues GreenTank’s streak of recognition for its Quantum platform, which was named “Most Promising Innovation” at the 2024 Global Tobacco & Nicotine Forum (GTNF). Furthermore, the company is expanding its global footprint through partnerships, including a recently announced U.S. distribution deal with Greenlane Holdings scheduled for 2025.
By winning one of InterTabac’s most prestigious awards, GreenTank has strengthened its reputation as a hardware innovator, establishing the Quantum Chip as a leading technology for the next generation of nicotine delivery systems.
