Shoppers can also utilize device maintenance and customization services, including on-site engraving.
Although the “glo Members Lounge” on the second floor remains closed while final preparations are made, BAT Japan said the area will soon open as a dedicated space for product trials, community engagement, and upcoming promotional events.
“The new Ginza store will serve as a central hub for the glo brand,” the company said in a statement, “offering consumers hands-on experiences and content that reflect BAT Japan’s commitment to innovation and quality.”
The launch emphasizes BAT’s ongoing investment in Japan’s expanding heated-tobacco market, where glo competes with rivals like Philip Morris International’s IQOS and Japan Tobacco’s Ploom series.
Ginza, one of Tokyo’s top luxury shopping districts, is home to several major next-generation tobacco boutiques, reflecting Japan’s position as one of the world’s leading markets for smoke-free nicotine products.
