New York City settled with two e-cigarette wholesalers accused of distributing flavored vaping products in violation of the city’s ban, according to a report by Law360.

Under the agreement, EnviroMD Group and GT Imports have committed to stop selling flavored e-cigarettes in the five boroughs. Future violations will result in fines of $1,000 per incident.

The settlement is part of a larger enforcement effort by the NYC law enforcement against disposable flavored nicotine products. City officials have filed multiple lawsuits against wholesalers and distributors they believe supplied banned flavored vapes after the ban was enacted.
