Philip Morris Limited has expanded its modern oral portfolio in the UK and Ireland with the launch of ZYN X-Low, the lowest-strength nicotine pouch currently available under the ZYN brand.

ZYN X-Low offers 1.5 mg of nicotine per pouch, making it an entry-level option for adult nicotine users trying pouches for the first time. The new version is designed to deliver less tingle and a smoother flavor release, expanding the strength options within the existing ZYN lineup.

The product is available in Spearmint, Black Cherry, and Cool Mint and is now stocked across grocery, convenience, and wholesale channels, as well as through PMI Open, Philip Morris Limited’s dedicated UK retailer platform.

Dor Matot, head of ZYN UK and Ireland at Philip Morris Limited, stated that the new strength represents a strategic expansion of the company’s modern oral product line.

“ZYN X-Low represents the continued evolution of our nicotine pouch portfolio, offering our lowest strength to date,” Matot said. “For adult nicotine users that want to try nicotine pouches for the first time, our 1.5mg nicotine pouch provides a suitable entrance into the category.

The launch is backed by a nationwide marketing campaign called “Be bold enough to take it easy with X-Low,” aimed at raising awareness of ZYN’s expanded strength variation and showcasing innovation in the brand’s nicotine pouch lineup.

With ZYN X-Low, Philip Morris Limited aims to offer retailers a more comprehensive product range and provide adult consumers with greater flexibility as demand for lower-strength modern oral nicotine products continues to increase.
