  • Higher strength offering: The initial launch includes 9 mg pouches across eight flavors, with 11 mg products scheduled to follow soon.
  • Expansion beyond classic ZYN: ZYN Ultra features 20 pouches per can, a moist pouch format and a built-in waste compartment, compared with 15 pouches per can in the traditional ZYN lineup.

Haypp Group has expanded its U.S. nicotine pouch portfolio with the launch of ZYN Ultra, a higher-strength format from Philip Morris International’s Swedish Match business. It became available through the company’s online platforms, Nicokick.com and Northerner.com, on June 15.

The launch includes ZYN Ultra 9 mg nicotine pouches in eight flavors: Wintergreen Blast, Arctic Mint, Peppermint Frost, Fresh Spearmint, Citrus Zest, Menthol Ice, Signature Smooth, and Chill Mist. An 11 mg range is expected to follow later in June.

“ZYN Ultra represents a significant addition to the nicotine pouch category and reflects growing consumer demand for variety in pouch formats, strengths and experiences,” Haypp said in announcing the launch.

The new product differs from the flagship ZYN line in several ways. ZYN Ultra contains 20 pouches per can, compared with 15 in traditional ZYN products. It uses a softer moist pouch format rather than the brand’s semi-dry design and incorporates a built-in waste compartment in the can. It also launches with higher nicotine strengths than the standard U.S. ZYN range, which is primarily offered in 3 mg and 6 mg variants.

According to Northerner, the new line was developed to offer adult nicotine consumers “an extra strength option” while expanding the overall ZYN product family.

The rollout further strengthens Haypp’s position in the rapidly growing nicotine pouch category. The company said the addition brings its U.S. assortment to more than 300 products.

The launch also builds on Haypp’s renewed relationships with Swedish Match and PMI. In September 2025, the company resumed direct-supplied sales of ZYN products through Nicokick and Northerner after a period of limited online availability. At the time, Haypp said ZYN had accounted for nearly half of sales on its U.S. platforms.

The arrival of ZYN Ultra comes amid intensifying competition in the U.S. nicotine pouch market, as manufacturers introduce new pouch formats, higher nicotine strengths and premium product features to compete for share in one of the fastest-growing segments of the nicotine industry.
