The World Vape Show has officially postponed its Miami edition, initially slated for Sept. 4 and 5, due to widespread customer difficulties in importing products, according to an announcement posted on the event’s official website. No new date has been announced.

In a statement, the organizers explained, “Due to customers experiencing difficulty importing products into the marketplace, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the event until further notice. This decision was not taken lightly, and our priority remains delivering a world-class experience that meets the expectations of both our visitors and exhibitors.”

Organizers assured stakeholders that the postponement will not impact other WVS events scheduled in South Africa in Nov. 2025 and Dubai in June 2026, both of which remain on track.

The Miami show was defined within the event’s broader portfolio as an important gateway to the North American vape market, co-located with the Novel Nicotine Expo and held at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center. Organizers previously promoted the U.S. show as a prime platform for connecting exhibitors with retailers and distributors across the continent.

For the nicotine industry, the postponement signals significant logistical and regulatory headwinds affecting trade flows. It can’t be overlooked that events such as the TPE 2026 in Vegas may also see impacts of illicit crackdowns and tariffs.

Exhibition stakeholders—manufacturers, distributors, and import-dependent exhibitors—are now awaiting revised dates for the Miami show.
