Casa 1910 has announced the appointment of Rob Maneson as its new global chief commercial officer, marking a significant step in the company’s plans for international growth within the premium cigar industry.
Maneson brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held several high-level positions throughout his career. He is best known for his tenure with Imperial Brands, where he led the company’s retail divisions Casa de Montecristo and JR Cigar. Most recently, he served as president for the USA and Americas at League of Fat Bastards Cigars, a position he assumed in April 2024 before departing in February 2025.
In a statement released by Casa 1910, Maneson expressed enthusiasm about joining the company. “I’m thrilled to be joining Casa 1910, a brand that is redefining what it means to be a premium cigar company with deep Mexican heritage,” he said. “The company’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation aligns perfectly with my passion for building brands and growing businesses in the premium cigar space. I look forward to working with the team to expand Casa 1910’s reach worldwide.”
The company described Maneson’s appointment as a strategic move that signals its next phase of development. He will be responsible for leading global commercial operations, with a focus on expanding the brand’s presence in both the U.S. and international markets.
“Rob’s deep industry experience and strategic mindset will be instrumental in taking Casa 1910 to new heights,” said co-founder Serge Bollag. “We are excited to have him on board as we continue to expand and share our passion for premium cigars with the world.”
Fellow co-founder Jamie Baer emphasized that Maneson’s leadership will play a critical role in building the brand’s market position and fostering new partnerships.
Maneson joins Casa 1910 during a period of active growth. In March, the company appointed Jeremy Fondi as its new national sales director. As chief commercial officer, Maneson will oversee Fondi as well as Christian Wagner, the company’s director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
